Softball Prepares for the Playoffs After Defeating Diablo Valley College to Close Out Big 8 Conference Play

The American River College Softball program defeated Diablo Valley College 9-1 to close out Big 8 Conference play.
The Beavers controlled the game throughout jumping out to a 7-0 lead through five innings. Diablo Valley would cut into the the Beavers lead with a run in the top of the sixth inning, however the Beavers would respond with two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to secure the 9-1 victory.
With the victory the Beavers close out the regular season 22-16 overall and will await to hear where they will travel for the playoffs.
