The American River College Softball program imrpoved to 7-4-1 on the season after sweeping Cabrillo College in a doubleheaer on the road.
In game one the Beavers held Cabrillo scoreless, while putting up 10 runs. Felesha Lapenske and Kaylie Hunt led the Beavers with 3 and 2 runs respectively in the 10-0 victory.
In game two the Beavers were impressive again defeating Cabrillo 13-4. Payton Burdick scored two runs and Kaylah Adams also added to runs in the victory.
The Beavers will now prepare to open up conference on Saturday, February 22nd, as they travel to play Modesto Junior College in a doubleheader at 12 PM and 2 PM.
