The American River College Softball program has begun Big 8 Conference play and currently sits at 1-2 after splitting a double header against Modesto Junior College on Saturday and dropping their conference home opener to Santa Rosa Junior College on Tuesday.
Against Modesto the Beavers won game one 2-0 and dropped game two 4-1. Against Santa Rosa, the Beavers would fall by a final score of 8-1.
The Beavers will now prepare to travel to take on Cosumnes River College in a double header at 12 PM and 2 PM on Friday, February 28th.
