The American River College Softball program picked up two impressive road wins during Friday's doubleheader at #19 Cosumnes River College.
In game one the Beavers defeated Cosumnes River 10-1. The Beavers were led by Kaylah Adams who had 2 homeruns, 2 doubles, and 5 RBIs.
In game two the Beavers defeated Cosumnes River by a final score of 2-1. Pitcher Felesha Lapenske was impressive in both wins, totaling 6 strike outs and only 2 runs in 14 innings.
With the win the Beavers improve to 3-2 in Big 8 Conference play and will prepare to host San Joaquin Delta College on Tuesday, March 4th, at 3 PM.
