The American River College Women's Basketball loss a close Big 8 Conference game against Modesto Junior College, 61-53, on Friday, January 27th.
The Beavers and Modesto were tied 16-16 at the end of the first quarter. However, the second and fourth quarters proved to be the difference as the Beavers were outscored in both quarters by Modesto.
The Beavers were led by 27 points from Aries Younger and 13 points from Tamai Mancuso. The Beavers will be back in action on Tuesday, January 31st, as they travel to play crosstown rival Sacramento City College at 5:30 PM.
