The American River College Women's Basketball program opened up Big 8 Conference play with a dominant 67-25 win over Diablo Valley College on Tuesday, December 23rd.
The Beavers utilized a strong first and second quarter to jump out to a 31-13 lead at halftime. The Beavers then followed that strong first half performance up with a second half that saw them outscore Diablo Valley 36-12.
With the win the Beavers improve to 1-0 in conference and 7-5 overall. The Beavers will now prepare to host San Joaquin Delta College at home on Thursday, January 2nd, at 7:30 PM.
