Women's Soccer Opens Season Opener With 2-2 Tie

The American River Colelge Women's Soccer program opened the 2023 season with as 2-2 tie at home against the College of Sequoias.
The Beavers would take an early 1-0 lead when Cece Gallegos made a great pass to Ktie Krestinkaia, who would score the goal in the 10th minute. After College of Sequoias tied the game at 1-1 in the 55th minute, CeCe Gallegos would score in the 75th minute to give the Beavers a 2-2 lead. Unfortunately College of Sequoias would respond with a late goal ini the 88th minute, leading to a final score of 2-2.
The Beavers will be back in action on Tuesday, August 29th, as they travel to play Canada College at 4 PM.
