The American River College Women's Soccer program picked up an iimpressive win yesterday after defeating Feather River College 5-0.
The Beavers started the scoring in the 37th minute when Grace Vojkufka made a great pass to Kyah Pickett who beat the Feather River goalie for the first goal of the game.
Grace Vojkufka would give the Beavers a 2-0 lead in the 40th minute after scoring on a great pass from Katie Edging.
In the second half, Kylee Bates gave the Beavers a 3-0 lead in the 60th minute. Isabel Amador was credited with the assist. Madison Johnson scored in the 85th minute, giving the Beavers a 4-0 lead and Ashley Guerrero-Orozco capped off the scoring with a goal in the 88th minute to give the Beavers the 5-0 victory.
With the win the Beavers move to 2-1-1 on the season and will prepare to travel down to play Lemoore College on Firday, September 6th, at 4 PM.
