The American River College Women's Soccer program dropped a close conference match on the road to Modesto Junior College on Friday.
After a goal by Modesto in the 14th minute of the match, freshman Kyah Picket would tie the game at 1-1 with a goal in the 16th minute. However, Modedsto would score what would be the game winning goal in the 37th minute of the match and ultimately take home the 2-1 victory.
With the loss the Beavers drop to 1-2 in conference and will prepare to host San Joaquin Delta College on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 6 PM.
