The American River College Volleyball program opened the 2023 season 1-1 after dropping a thilling 5 set match to Feather River College, in a rematch of the 2022 State Championships, and sweeping De Anza College 3-0.

The game between Feather River College and the Beavers proved to be a great one with both teams going back and forth.  The Beavers would take matches #2 (25-18) and #4 (26-24), while Feather River would take matches #1 (25-15), #3 (25-19), and #5 (15-9).  Morgan Castaneda and Allaina Houk lead the Beavers with 15 points and 14.5 points respectively.

After the close loss to Feather River, the Beavers would bounce back with a dominating performnce against De Anza College.  Led Addison DeMarse's 12 points and Marley Harrison's 7 points, the Beavers would sweep De Anza in straight sets 25-19, 25-11, and 25-18.

The Beavers will be back in action on Wedensday, August 30th, as they travel to play College of San Mateo at 6:30 PM.
