The American River College Volleyball program had a busy weekend as they played three matches in two days.  However, the weekend proved to be a great one as they swept each opponent 3-0 to improve to 8-4 on the season.

The Beavers began the weekend opening up Big 8 Conference play against Modesto Junior College.  The Beavers ended Modesto's five-game winniing streak after winning in straight sets 25-13, 25-10, and 25-20.

The next day, the Beavers defeated Columbia College in straight sets at home 25-6, 25-10, and 25-12.  Later that day the Beavers' non-conference play continued as they defeated College of Marin 25-15, 25-14, and 25-12 for their third straight sweep.

The Beavers will be back in action on Friday, ,September 22nd, as they travel to play Santa Rosa Junior College at 6:30 PM in Big 8 Conference action.
