American River College Women's Cross Country team opened their season at the State Preview meet at  Woodward Park in Fresno.  Alana Laverty and Alejandra Magana-Ramirez finished 8^th (19:48) and 12^th (20:09) receiving medals for their top 14 finish on the 5k course.  Freshman Autumn Garcia was next in the beaver line up with over a minute PR in 22:21.  Rounding out the six runners were Lily Harline (23:11), Jasmine Tirado (25:14), and Em Marchetti with a PR (26:22).   The team finished 9^th overall and placed 4^th among the Northern California teams.
