The American River College Women's Cross Country program has been working hard throughout the past several months.  On Friday the athletes began to see the fruit of their labors by taking 3rd place in the NorCal Preview Meet in Salinas, California.

The Beavers finished the meet with 95 total points.  Only Hartnell College (2nd place) and Clovis Community College (1st) finished ahead.  The Beavers were lead by Alejandra Magana-Ramirez and Alanna Laverty who finished the 3 Mile Course with times of 19:49.6 and 20:00.7 respectively.

The Beavers will now prepare to participate in the Bronco Invitational at Santa Clara University on Saturday, October 19th.
