From The Current In a back and forth, tightly-contested second round playoff match, American River College’s women’s volleyball team defeated Fresno City College 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 26-24 for a three games to one win, coming from behind in the final game after being down 24-23 at game point.
ARC Volleyball advances to round two of regional playoffs

The volleyball team beat Hartnell College in playoff action Tuesday with a final score of 3-1. The 21-6 Beavers now move on to host Fresno City College in 2nd-round competition on Saturday, November 29 at 7 p.m. in the small gym. ARC is ranked #3 in northern California and Fresno #6.

2014 Preseason Volleyball Recap

After a slow start, Beavers improved drastically over the course of the preseason schedule. A tough weekend schedule Sept. 4th and 5th started with a sweep of CCSF and then a 5 game loss to Feather River. The athletes then drove out to foothill to take on strong Foothill and Fresno teams. They suffered 3-1 losses to both teams.
