It looks like the weather will cooperate on Saturday and allow the 2020 version of the American River College Baseball team to kick off the season outside and in style.  The baseball alumni will take batting practice from 10-11 am.  The 2020 Beavers will then take a pre-game infield/outfield followed by introductions of the team.  At noon the Beavers will have a 6 inning intrasquad game in uniform which will be followed by a BBQ catered by O'Connor's Santa Maria Grill of Orangevale.  The event is free and open to the public. 

It's baseball season again and the Beavers are ready to kick off the 2020 campaign with the 17^th annual Alumni Batting practice followed by the Blue vs. White Intrasquad game and BBQ on Saturday, January 18^th at Beaver Field.  The alumni in attendance will be able to take batting practice from 10-11 a.m.  That will be followed by the Blue vs. White Intrasquad game where the 2020 A.R.C. baseball team will be in uniform for the first time.  The game will start at noon and be approximately 7 innings.  Immediately after the game will be the teams' season kickoff BBQ which will be catered by O'Connor's Santa Maria Grill of Orangevale.  O'Connor's has catered each of the 17 years that the Beavers have had this event.  The BBQ should start around 2:30.

The Beavers begin the 2020 season on the road on Friday, January 24^th at West Valley College in Saratoga.  The West Valley Vikings then come to Beaver Field on Saturday the 25^th for the 2020 home opener for the Beavers at 1:00 p.m.
