Saturday turned out to be a great day, though a little chilly but the sun did shine on the American River College baseball team and their alumni as the 17^th annual Alumni BP and Blue vs White game went off as planned.  There was a great crowd for the intrasquad game which saw the 2020 A.R.C. Beavers in uniform for the first time this year.  There were some opening day jitters but for the most part the team played well.  There were plenty of alumni in attendance- and several of them were able to get the ball out of spacious Beaver Field.  The BBQ was catered by O'Connor's Catering and Santa Maria Grill for the 17^th straight year and the food was great.  It was a great way to kick off the 2020 season which begins this Friday, the 24^th as the Beavers travel to West Valley College in Saratoga to take on the Vikings.  The two teams then come back to Sacramento to meet up on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for the Beavers home opener.
