With conference play starting the following week, the Beavers participated in the 41st annual Modesto Invitational Tournament as a final tune-up before the conference dual-team season. The tournament features a unique format. It is a flighted tournament in which each player competes in a separate draw comprised of players at the same ladder position for their respective team. The team champion of the tournament is determined by the amount of overall individual wins each team earns. Of the 14 teams competing, ARC tied with Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) for second place. Foothill College (FH) finished 6 points ahead of the Beavers and SRJC.

All 6 ARC players reached their respective singles semifinals. Seppi Capaul was the Flight 1 singles champion and Jimmy Giovannini (flight 2) and Ryan Wilson (flight 5) reached the final in their flights. In the doubles, all 3 ARC duos reached the semifinals, but only Capaul/Giovannini were able to advance past that point. The #1 pair beat Gonzalez/Purser (MJC) 7-6(4), 6-4 in the semifinal and beat the #1 seeded Feldmanis/Resende (FH) in the final 6-3, 7-5. Capaul became only the second ARC player in the last twenty years to win both the Flight1 singles and the Flight 1 doubles championship at the Modesto Invitational, repeating Lovedeep Singh's performance of 2014.
