The Beavers finished the 2016 season ranked #3 in the state. It was the fourth straight season that ARC has been in the top five in the state and it was tied for the highest ranking (1971, 2013) for the program since 1966, when they won the state title. In addition to winning the NorCal championship, and reaching the state championship final, the Beavers also won the Big 8 North Conference title for the fifth straight season, won the MJC Tournament for the first time, and finished the season 17-2 against junior college competition. Individual awards for the Beavers included Alex Meliuk, Cody Duong, and Seppi Capaul making 1st Team All-Conference, Dylan King and TJ Aukland making 2nd Team All-Conference, Meliuk and Duong making the All-American Team, Duong being chosen as the ITA Player to Watch in California, and Duong/Meliuk reaching the state semifinals in the individual doubles tournament. It was an incredible season for the Beavers, filled with great accomplishments, and more importantly, great moments and memories.
