The men's track and field season preview is extremely optimistic. In 2018 the men's team was the Big 8 and NorCal champions and look to have even a stronger showing than that squad. With plenty of returners, along with a VERY strong freshman class the Beavers are the early favorites to repeat as both Conference and NorCal champions, and they look to improve on their 4th place state showing last season.

Top returners include:

• Myles Ellis and Corey Lyons in the 400 meters, they finished 1-2 in conference last season.
• Brett Lombardi in the Decathlon, he was the NorCal champion last year.
• Cecil Ebiwok and Maclean Conner in the hurdles.
• James Dudley and Vadim Trachuk in the jumps.

We could go on for another 5 minutes to cover the entire team, but…

This group, plus 20 distance runners and several quality freshman definitely have the ingredients for an amazing season that looks GREAT for the Beavers…and bad for everyone else.
