The Beaver Women's Cross Country team traveled to Santa Rosa for the Big 8 Championships and had a very successful day! Alanna Laverty ran a very smart race and moved her way through the field and eneded up winning the Big 8 Conference Women's Individual Championship in a time of 19:28 for the 5k race! Jayde King and Mary Nolan also had great days and raced smart moving up throughout the whole race. When all was said and done, Jayde finished in 21:39 for 9th and Mary Nolan  finished in 22:07 for 14th!

With those results, All 3 women have qualified for the NorCal Championships next weekend!

This is the first time since 2014 that the Women and Men Cross Country programs both had the conference individual champion!
