Modesto JC Came into Beaver Field as one of the hottest teams in Northern California and though they didn’t do a lot, they did enough to defeat American River College 7-5 on Tuesday. Starter Brian Thomas (Ponderosa) was effective for 7 innings, allowing just two earned runs and he left the game with a 5-3 lead. The Beavers tied the score at two apiece in the 3rd inning when RF Cole Hurtarte (Whitney, pictured) doubled to left center to drive in two.
Beavers get first home win of season over Solano in extra innings

It took a little longer than the A.R.C. Baseball coaching staff thought that it would but the 2020 team was finally able to get a victory at Beaver Field on Friday, downing the Solano College Falcons 5-4 in 10 innings.
Beavers still winless at Home - fall to Butte

The American River College baseball team missed an opportunity to even the season series with Butte College on Saturday as the Beavers fell to the Roadrunners for the second straight day, this time 9-2. Once again A.R.C started out on top, scoring single runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings to go up 2-1.

Due to a scheduling conflict Tuesday’s game versus Mission College will be played at Mission College in Santa Clara. The game will still be at 2:00 p.m.
Beavers even series with Shasta on Saturday

American River College used a couple of big hits on Saturday to defeat Shasta College in Redding 10-1 to even the season series at one game apiece. The two teams do not play again this season. Freshman CF Hayden Erickson (Whitney) got the Beavers on the board first with a leadoff double, then advanced to third on a passed ball.
Beavers Self-Destruct Versus Knights

The Shasta College Knights continued their mastery over American River College on Thursday, winning their 5th straight against the Beavers dating back to a 5-0 A.R.C. win on February 4th, 2017. On Thursday, the Knights jumped early on several Beavers miscues, scoring four runs in the first and second innings to go up 8-0 early.
Beaver's bats carry team to series victory!

On the road seems to be the place to be in 2020 as the visiting team won all three games in the Beavers season opening series with West Valley College. After the Beavers took game 1 in Saratoga on Friday, the Vikings returned the favor by spoiling the Beavers home opener on Saturday
Beavers outhit Feather River but lose 2-1

The Beavers bats were alive on Friday as they out-hit Feather River College 11-3 but tremendous defense on both sides kept the score low and the Golden Eagles were able to sneak out a 2-1 win.
Beavers Earn Split with West Valley in First Weekend

The 2020 baseball season is upon us and the American River College Beavers got off to a great start on Friday. Freshman Blake Yuyama (Kennedy) needed just 69 pitches to sail through 6 innings in his college debut as the Beavers took down West Valley College 10-2 in Saratoga on Friday. A.R.C. got a couple of big run-scoring hits and a 4x5 day from sophomore Joseph Hayden (Cosumnes Oaks, pictured) to get on the board early and often to put the game away.
Beavers Scrimmage with Solano Cancelled

Due to the chance of rain American River College and Solano College have cancelled their scrimmage which was set for Tuesday the 21st at 1:00 p.m. The Beavers open the 2020 season on Friday, January 24th at West Valley College in Saratoga at 1:00 p.m.
Alumni BP, Blue VS White Day a Success!!

Saturday turned out to be a great day, though a little chilly but the sun did shine on the American River College baseball team and their alumni as the 17th annual Alumni BP and Blue vs White game went off as planned. There was a great crowd for the intrasquad game which saw the 2020 A.R.C. Beavers in uniform for the first time this year.

It looks like the weather will cooperate on Saturday and allow the 2020 version of the American River College Baseball team to kick off the season outside and in style. The baseball alumni will take batting practice from 10-11 am.
